BLACK EYED PEAS SOUP



BLACK EYED PEAS SOUP
For babies age 8 months (breastfeeding)
Or 7 months (formula fed)



Ingredients:
Knob of butter
1 onion
1 carrot
1 parsnip
Approx. 200g of black eyed peas
Vegetable stock cube
Approx. 60g of veal meat
1 potato

1.     I bought my black eyed peas in a jar in water, but if you buy them dry, you need to live them cover in water for overnight.
2.     Heat up the butter, then fry on it chopped onion.
3.     Add chopped carrot and parsnip.
4.     When the vegetables are getting soft add the black eyed peas.
5.     Add chopped veal meat, stock cube, chopped potato and cover with boiling water.
6.     Cook it on medium heat for 30minutes.



Serve with a slice of rye bread.
