FRESH BROAD BEAN SOUP



FRESH BROAD BEAN SOUP
For babies age 10 months (when breastfed)
Or 11 months (formula fed)



Ingredients:
Olive oil
Half of onion
1 garlic clove
2 carrots
1 parsnip
Small piece of turnip
1 tsp of organic vegetable boullion
Piece of chicken breast
Handful of barley flakes
2 potatoes
2 handfuls of fresh broad beans

1.       Heat the the olive in a big pot, then fry chopped onion and garlic.
2.        After 2 minutes add chopped carrots, parsnip and turnip. Fry until vegetable soften a little bit.
3.       Sprinkle the vegetable boullion and add pieces of chicken breast and cover with boiled water.
4.       After couple of minutes add chopped potatoes and barley flakes.  Mix everything and leave on medium heat for 10 minutes.
5.       Then throw broad beans, cook for 5 minutes and turn off the heat.
