Sweetcorn & Rabbit Soup



Sweetcorn & Rabbit Soup


Ingredients:
Knob of butter
Half of onion
1 garlic clove
1 carrot
1 parsnip
1 potato
200 g of frozen sweetcorn
Rabbit meat
1 tsp of organic vegetable boullion
Handful of pearl barley

1.      Heat up the butter and fry chopped onion and garlic, few minutes later add chopped carrot and parsnip.
2.      Fry it for approx. 7 minutes then add rabbit’s meat and vegetable boullion and cover with boiled water.
3.      Bring it to boiling, then reduce the heat to medium and add chopped potato and barley, and couple of minutes later frozen sweetcorn. Cook for another  5 minutes and turn off.

HOMEMADE CRANBERRY JELLY



HOMEMADE CRANBERRY JELLY
For babies age 10 months (breastfed)
11 months (formula fed)



Ingredients:
100 g cranberries ( I used mix of dry and frozen cranberries)
1 tbs of brown sugar
1 tbs of potato starch
200 ml of water



1.      In a small pot cook together cranberries, sugar and water.

2.      When it’s boiling take of the heat and carefully blend till smooth texture.


3.      Meanwhile add a little bit of cold water to potato starch and mix it to dissolve starch.
4.      Put back the cranberries on the heat and add potato starch mixed with water. Cook on low heat and stir continuously.
5.       Cook it on low heat for another 2 minutes until jelly like texture.
6.      Take off the heat and serve.


·         If you like sweet jelly you might add more sugar.

Cauliflower Soup



Cauliflower Soup
For babies age 8 months (when breastfed)
Or 9 months (bottlefed)



Ingredients:
Rapeseed oil
Half of onion
1 garlic clove
1 carrot
1 parsnip
Small piece of turnip
1 tsp of organic vegetable boullion
Rabbit meat
2 potatoes
cauliflower
Lovage for decoration



1.       Preheat the oil  and fry chopped onion, garlic, and few minutes later carrot, parsnip and turnip.
2.       After approx. 7 minutes add vegetable boullion and pieces of rabbit meat.
3.       Bring it to boiling and add chopped potatoes and cauliflower pieces.
4.       Cook on medium heat for 10-15 minutes .
5.       Before serving decorate with a lovage leaf.

FRESH BROAD BEAN SOUP



FRESH BROAD BEAN SOUP
For babies age 10 months (when breastfed)
Or 11 months (formula fed)



Ingredients:
Olive oil
Half of onion
1 garlic clove
2 carrots
1 parsnip
Small piece of turnip
1 tsp of organic vegetable boullion
Piece of chicken breast
Handful of barley flakes
2 potatoes
2 handfuls of fresh broad beans

1.       Heat the the olive in a big pot, then fry chopped onion and garlic.
2.        After 2 minutes add chopped carrots, parsnip and turnip. Fry until vegetable soften a little bit.
3.       Sprinkle the vegetable boullion and add pieces of chicken breast and cover with boiled water.
4.       After couple of minutes add chopped potatoes and barley flakes.  Mix everything and leave on medium heat for 10 minutes.
5.       Then throw broad beans, cook for 5 minutes and turn off the heat.
