HOMEMADE
WHOLEMEAL BREAD
INGREDIENTS:
500 g wholemeal flour
8 g of dry yeast OR 25 g of fresh yeast
2 cups of warm water
1 tbsp of salt
1 tsp of sugar
1. Mix together
flour and yeast, salt and sugar.
2. Add water and
knead the dough for a while.
3. Cover and
leave in warm place for 1h.
4. Transfer the
dough to baking tin, greased and layered. You could you 1 big loaf tin or two 8x22cm).
5. Leave it in
warm place for another 30 minutes.
6. Preheat the
oven to 220 degrees.
7. Before putting
the tin to oven sprinkle the top of the dough with water.
8. Reduce the
temperature to 200 degrees and bake for 1 hour.
