Baps
Ingredients:
380 g of flour
¾ cup of warm water
30 g of fresh yeast
3 tbs of olive oil
1 tsp of salt
½ tsp of sugar
1. Mix together fresh
yeast, warm water, sugar and 1 table spoon of flour. Combine it together and
leave on the site for 15minutes.
2. In a big bowl
mix the rest of the flour, olive oil and salt and mix from point 1. Knead it
for a while until dough is smooth, then cover the bowl with a clean towel and
leave it in a warm place for 15 minutes.
3. Divide the
dough into small balls ( 4 if you want big baps, 6 for medium and 8 for small).
Make a round, ball shape, wet it on top and sprinkle with the flour before
putting on a baking tray layered with a baking paper. Leave it aside for another 15 minutes.
4. Meanwhile preheat
the oven to 190 degrees.
5. Bake the baps
for approx. 20 minutes.
