5 minutes doughnuts



5 minutes doughnuts


Ingredients:
280 g each yoghurts or fromage frais
2 eggs
2 cups of flour
½ cup of icing sugar
1.5 tsp of baking powder
1 litre of oil

1.      Heat up the oil in a big pot.
2.      Mix the rest of the ingredients (except the oil). Dough should be sticky.
3.      When the oil is hot take the dough on a table spoon and transfer to the oil. It’s easier when the spoon is dipped in the oil before taking the dough.
4.      Fry on both sites until golden colour.

JAM FILLED NUT COOKIES



JAM FILLED NUT COOKIES


Ingredients:
200 g flour
150 g ground hazelnuts
1 egg
100 g sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
Pinch of salt
125 g butter
125 g cherry jam
100 g dark chocolate
Approx.20 walnut halves

1.     Mix the flour and hazelnuts together and transfer the mixture onto your work surface. Add the egg, vanilla sugar, salt and flakes of butter and knead all the ingredients together.
2.     Shape the dough into a ball and wrap it in cling film and stand in a cool place for 1 hour.
3.     Roll out the dough on a floured work surface, a portion at a time, then cut out the cookies using a cookie cutter. 

4.     Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Place the cookies on baking sheet and bake for about 10 minutes.
5.     Puree the cherry jam and use it to sandwich two cookies together at a time.

6.     Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it either in a warm bain-marie or in a microwave. 

7.     Top with half a walnut.

Butter shortbread cookies



Butter shortbread cookies


Ingredients:
500 g flour
250 g butter
200 g sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla sugar
Grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
Pinch of cinnamon
1 egg yolk

1.      Combine the flour, butter flakes with the sugar. Make the depression in the center and tip in the eggs, vanilla sugar, grated lemon zest, lemon juice and cinnamon.
2.      Mix all the ingredients with a hand then knead the mixture into a smooth dough.
3.      Leave the dough in a cool place for 1h.
4.      Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
5.      Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface.
6.      Cut out shapes and place them on baking sheet which have been greased and dusted with flour.
7.      Brush the cookies with egg yolk and bake for approx. 10 minutes until golden brown.

ALMOND COOKIES



ALMOND COOKIES


Ingredients:
150 g flour
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch of salt
280 g icing sugar
2 tsp vanilla sugar
2 tbsp milk
125 g butter
150g ground almonds
Flour for dusting

1.     Sift the flour and baking powder together in a mixing bowl. Add the salt, 80 g of icing sugar, almonds and milk. Cut the butter into pieces and add them to the mixture. Mix it all with an electric mixer.
2.     Sprinkle the work surface with flour and knead the dough by hands. Leave it in a cool place for 1 hour.
3.     Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.  Roll out the dough thinly, cut out cookie shapes and place on baking paper. Bake for 10  minutes.
